Week 0- Arch 1101- Introduction

This ever changing setup of my aquariums are my stress relievers and ideas generator. Whenever i get stuck with difficulties, i often find myself fiddling and staring at the tanks. Even a simple adjustment to a piece of driftwood or a slight movement in the tank can sometimes trigger a new idea or inspiration. The tank transforms differently during different phases of my life, i guess it is a reflection of me as a person in different stages.

Mr Geoff Melone, Architect of GV 10 designed this building as a spaceship that has landed in Yishun (Planning area located in North East of Singapore). I have lived in Yishun for all my life, GV 10 has seen me grow from a foolish child to who i am today. From visiting this building for a movie night followed by a fast food meal as a carefree child to walking past it with thoughts about life as a young adult . Numerous memories were shaped together with this piece of Architecture. To me, it is more than a great piece of Architecture.

This photo was taken on my way back home after my first grocery shopping in Sydney. I was feeling a little empty and unsure of myself, probably because 
i left my comfort zone in pursue for my own dreams. I sat down on the grass patch and observed the activities on field. A simple blue sky accompanied by snow white clouds, a simple green field accompanied by gleeful families. Life is simple isn't it? What's there to think about other than to be in the moment and feel your surroundings?
